  Russian Caravan Smokey

Russian Caravan Teas derived their name from ancient trading routes that brought tea to the Tsars, when tea was transported from China to Russia in a 'caravan' of camels. Most blends include the Chinese black tea, Keemun, which has a very slight hint of smokiness and an almost nutty flavour.  As it travelled the long journey, the nightly campfires added to that smokiness.  The smokiness is now achieved by adding smokey teas such as Lapsang Souchong to the blend.

If you would like just a slight hint of smoke, try Russian Caravan Traditional.
